I notice that Mercedes-Benz is a sponsor of fashion events around the world, particulary in New York, but how do their cars and fashion come together? How could they use these events to promote cars, when in fact they are all about fashion?
Im constantly designing clothes,which im pretty good at ,to tell the truth!,but ive just left high school (uk)and i am thinking about possibly become a fashion designer after i get my A levels in spanish ,english and science.

Hello Everyone. I have done my bachelors in engineering(Electronics) followed by an MBA (marketing and communication) from a tier 1 college. I have been working for around two years as a business analyst in an IT consulting firm. But i am really passionate about the fashion retail industry and want to build a career as a fashion buyer in the women’s category. Do i need to go for an additional degree in fashion buying? If yes, would a short term course suffice?
I was looking to go to graduate school for fashion in London, I found two progams I was intrested in. I have an intrest in the fashion industry mostly inttrested in buying allocations. My first degree is in Sociology so for me to get my Masters I want to be able to easily find a job. Dream jobs would be (TOPSHOP, New Look, Vivian Westwood, Harvey Nichols). The 2 programs I found are MA Fashion Business and a MA fashion Marketing.
Any ideas on salaries for experienced/inexperienced buyers? I run my own import/export fashion business and am planning to do a two year foundation degree in fashion and marketing and the London College of Fashion, any ideas on what my slary might be when I get a job with a company after
Please don’t give me the whole you shouldn’t follow trends, etc. I’m only asking because I’m curious and I want to know. Please don’t tell me to look at fashion magazines and in stores because each store caters for different people same with fashion magazines.
She’s studying fashion journalism at college.
Last year I got her several subscriptions to Vogue, Glamour, Elle, Marie Claire, Teen Vogue as well as international copies of Vogue. I got her some shoes and a dress as well. I know it sounds a lot but her birthday is just before christmas so we have the two at once. I just don’t know what to get her this year, she’s turning 22.
